Below is brief information about several of our key executives charged with initiating brand building and marketing/advertising/PR strategies for our clients.

These people are supported by our creative, production and media traffic staff.

Douglas Knorr: President
Doug's enthusiasm and zest for life has guided his professional career in medical technology, broadcast advertising, real estate development and as founder of Knorr Marketing in 1986. 

Doug's synergistic approach in a marketing-partnership philosophy bodes well with the clients that list Knorr Marketing as their agency of record. 

Considered a "Retail Marketing Activist," Doug is nationally known for his expertise in branding and the retail furniture industry, with clients throughout the United States.

Beginning in 2004, he began writing articles for the NHFA's Home Furnishings Retailer magazine. He now writes a monthly column for them called, "Turn it Around!" In his column, he has addressed everything from branding to traditional advertising and the Internet to operational accountability.

Mr. Knorr is also Chairman of the Board of Real Tour Vision, Inc. - a world leader in virtual tour software, panoramic virtual tours with dealers throughout the U.S. and in 20 foreign countries.

Virtual tours are a powerful sales tool used by the Real Estate industry, travel/lodging industry, colleges & universities, health care institutions, recreation facilities such as golf courses. A variety of corporate businesses also use this tool to enhance sales, training, human resource communications, investor relations, safety programs and security



Phillip Callighan: Senior Account Executive/Marketing Director
Phil joined Knorr from Chicago in 1993 to focus on strategic planning and branding as well as provide Internet and Public Relations (PR) leadership for all of our clients.

At various times during his 30 years of agency experience, he has been a writer-producer, creative director and president of agencies whose client roster has included Fortune 100 corporations as well as entrepreneurial ventures.

Phil's career includes authoring survey instruments, conducting market research, developing strategic plans, launching new products, penetrating new markets, increasing market share and creating promotions.

He is a sought-after consultant and has helped build product and corporate brands for several financial institutions (he is a past member of the American Banking Association) as well as healthcare corporations, building products, hardware and high-tech businesses.

A member of the Public Relations Society of America, he has also supervised creation of award-winning PR campaigns and has built several brands with the power of PR.

Phil has written numerous articles on behalf of clients that have appeared in trade publications and is also the recognized author or co-author of articles in other publications.

He is a summa-cum-laude graduate of North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.

When not working on client activities, he enjoys golfing and attending live performances (theatre, jazz music, etc.).



Ellen Ebersole: Media Director
Ellen returned to Knorr Marketing in July of 2003, after a hiatus to raise her three children. She first joined the Knorr Team in 1987. Prior to that, she began her Advertising and Marketing career at WJIM AM/FM TV 6 in Lansing.

Ellen now manages Knorr Marketing's Media Department where she and her team provide extensive research and analysis of pertinent media markets, as well as plan, place, evaluate and conduct post analysis of all media for the agency's clients throughout the United States.

Ellen attended Western Michigan University and is a graduate of the Media Buying Academy.



Daniel Kolle: Interactive Department Manager
Dan has been with Knorr Marketing since 2004, during which time he has had a hand in developing a variety of multi-channel media campaigns and Customer Management Systems as well as supervising all Knorr Marketing hosted websites.

Dan brings a service attitude to his work and enjoys seeing projects through to completion. His knowledge of HTML, Java Script and PHP programming, along with extensive network and Search Engine Optimization experience, equips him to handle the programming and launching of complete websites and integrated marketing campaigns that use the Internet.

"I enjoy technology challenges and pride myself on solving problems for our clients," says Dan.

When not behind a computer or server, Dan can be seen fishing, skiing or boating.
